HOW DO I PLACE A FREE CLASSIFIED AD?
Simply click on the tab at the top of the page that says PLACE A FREE CLASSIFIED. Then simply follow the steps. For safety and security reasons, when you place your finished ad, it will come to us for review. If approved, we will publish. This should take about 24-72 hours. Sorry for any inconvenience but we need to protect our readers and their families from pranks and poor judgement.
WHAT ARE THE CATEGORIES OF CLASSIFIED ADS?
There are six categories: 1) Misc. Products for Sale, 2) Misc. Services For Sale, 3) Homes for Rent, 4) Houses for Sale, 5) Vehicles for Sale, 6) Local Job Opportunities. You can upload a photo to any ad and remember to include a local phone number (800 numbers will not be accepted) so you can be contacted and verified. No e-mail addresses at this time. If you are a serious about selling your item, make it easy to respond online.
CAN I UPLOAD A PHOTO INTO MY CLASSIFIED AD?
YES! This is a great new option our readers just love. A picture is worth a 1000 words, so feel free to upload a color or black and white photo. It must be in a low resolution 72 dpi jpeg format (which is commonly used on the internet everywhere). No Word or PDF file extensions.
HOW MANY WORDS CAN I INCLUDE IN MY CLASSIFIED AD?
Up to 20 words in the headline and 50 words in the body copy, and your ad must include a local phone number. We are not responsible for typos or misprints, content or wrong phone numbers. Each advertiser types in their own ad, we simply enable it to be published in our guide.
HOW DO I VIEW ALL THE FREE CLASSIFIEDS?
Simply click on the VIEW FREE CLASSIFIEDS tab at the top of the home page. Click on a category and follow the prompts. Then call the individual advertiser when you find something you want or need. Don't forget to SHOP FULLERTON when ever possible.
HOW LONG WILL THE FREE CLASSIFIED AD RUN?
30 days. Then you can renew it over and over again until your item is sold. Towards the end of your timeframe, you will receive an e-mail to renew. You will need to go on again and re-place your ad. Changes may not be made to an ad during the 30 days, but you can always delete the ad and place another.
WHO CAN ENTER THE "RECIPE OF THE MONTH" CONTEST?
All local residents who love to cook or eat! Simply take a few minutes and give us the ingredients and cooking instructions for your favorite recipe. Then shoppers are encouraged to try and vote on the best recipe, with the voting complete on the last day of each month. Winners receive an award, featured on the home page and added to our
favorites list. One recipe per person per month and recipes that do not win, can be added again the following month … maybe your recipe is seasonal!
HOW DO I FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT COMMUNITY EVENTS?
On the home page Bulletin Board, there will be a list of community events and activities. Just click on one for an additional description. If you want more information or want to buy tickets or find out times, call the number provided or go to the website displayed.
HOW DO I ADD INFORMATION ABOUT AN UPCOMING EVENT?
To add an event, simply go to CONTACT US and follow the instructions. We will add it to the site until the event is over. We reserve the right to refuse any events that are not in good taste for local families and/or children or do not meet our guidelines. This is for community use only.
IF I WANT TO RECEIVE AN "EMAIL ALERT" ABOUT NEW COUPONS AND SPECIALS ON SPECIFIC PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, HOW DOES THAT WORK?
